Production Process

White sugar - a pantry staple, undergoes a meticulous refining process. Sugarcane (or sugar beets) is crushed to extract juice. This juice is heated and clarified to remove impurities. Next, lime is added to crystallise the sucrose (natural sugar). The crystals are then spun in centrifuges to separate them from the molasses (a dark, syrupy by product). Finally, the crystals are further refined with bone char or activated carbon for a gleaming white colour.
At Rajshree Sugar Mills, we make sure only first grade cane is used with fully automated process and packaging therefore, there is no possibility of contamination by hands.

Benefits

While some might view white sugar as a devoid of benefits, it actually plays a crucial role in food science. Its fine texture and predictable sweetness makes it ideal for baking and creating consistent results. Unlike some natural sweeteners, white sugar doesn't overpower delicate flavours, which allows other ingredients to shine as well. Additionally, its long shelf life ensures consistent sweetness in stored foods.
