The Semmedu Plant is an Integrated Sugar complex comprising of a Sugar Plant, Co-Generation Plant and a Distillery each with capacities of 4000 TCD, 20.5 MW and 80 KLPD respectively. Incepted in 2009, it was fully automated in 2014, featuring advanced equipment for enhanced efficiency and sustainability. The factory also supports thousands of farmers and workers in the area, and contributes to the socio-economic development of the region. Zero Effluent Commitment: The factory operates as a ZLD plant, with a 50,000 cubic metre rainwater harvesting tank, embodying environmental stewardship and contributing to groundwater replenishment.
