The focus of our educational programme is on the holistic development of each DISHA student. Beyond the core areas of our programme, there is plenty of flexibility for the learners to explore and develop their personal strengths. Being a child-centred school, we are committed to recognize, accommodate and celebrate the natural gifts and inherent talents of the individual child.
Academics
DISHA follows the syllabus prescribed by The Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), which conducts The Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) examination for Grade X, and the Indian School Certificate (ISC) examination for Grade XII. The Council was established in 1958 by the University of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate, to ensure that its examination was adapted to the educational needs of India. Apart from being recognized throughout India, ISC is treated as the equivalent of the Senior Examination of the University of Scotland.
The academic programme at DISHA is student-centred, where each student is inspired to develop a passion for the subject, and encouraged to seek true knowledge, rather than being a passive absorber of information. Utilizing the highest quality teaching tools, methods and learning material, our committed educators motivate the students to excel to their optimum. Our ideal student - teacher ratio provides a conducive environment for individual attention, as well as group interactions and efficient sharing sessions of ideas.
