The lab has a keen objective on developing products for needs of the society and industries with the latest technology in the drives field. More than that, it imparts knowledge and continuous training for the students in the field of Electrical Drives

Mission

To equip students with the thorough knowledge on Electric motors and power conversion circuits.
To design and develop energy efficient electrical drive circuit for various applications.
To collaborate with the industries and institutes on developing solutions for problem statements in the field of Electrical Drives.

What we do

Drives and Actuators Lab of Bannari Amman Institute of Technology has been established in the month of July 2018. Our objective is to provide continuous training to students in the field of Electrical Drives and provide platform to showcase their ideas in the national and international competitions. We are promoting the research in the field of advancements in variable frequency drives and special machines drives by providing continuous learning environment.
