                Most single-phase motors are constructed with two windings which
                are physically displaced 90 electrical degrees around the motor
                stator. The windings are often asymmetrical, in which case the
                “main” winding will have a higher current rating. Furthermore,
                the “auxiliary” winding is connected to the ac supply through a
                series capacitor, to make its current lead the main winding
                current by approximately 90° in phase.
              </p>
              <p>
                The time and spatial quadrature currents in the two windings
                create an unbalanced two-phase rotating magnetic field which
                ensures that some motor torque is generated even at standstill.
                The capacitor is ideally chosen so that the main and auxiliary
                winding currents are time-displaced by 90°, achieving exact
                two-phase operation except for the unbalanced current
                magnitudes. However, this optimum condition only occurs for a
                motor speed since the effective impedance of both windings
                varies significantly with motor slip.
              </p>

                Motor-run capacitors also provide the necessary power factor
                correction during the run stage for a more energy-efficient
                motor operation.
              </p>

            <p>
              The service life objective for the Designed capacitors is 50,000
              hours of operating life with a 95% survival rate when operated at
              full voltage, 50 Hz or 60 Hz frequency, and rated ambient
              temperature. AC capacitors are frequently used at voltages and
              ambient temperatures other than rated conditions. Service life may
              be estimated under specific conditions of temperature and voltage
              by using the curves as shown below and to the right.

                switch mechanism to avoid overload to the motor winding. Motor
                Start Capacitors are specifically used in Intermittent Duty
