People can identify, recognize themselves through community radio, besides communicating among themselves. BACR is essentially a non-profit enterprise initiated by the Bannariamman Educational Trust, Coimbatore and managed by Bannari Amman Institute of Technology, Sathyamangalam. Community Radio is characterised by the active participation of the local community in the process of broadcasting information on agricultural issues and cultural richness of the society. Radio proves to be the most effective medium as it can easily cover wide range of areas as well as diversified audience with a view to enhancing the life style of the local people. In these days of highly commercialised broadcasting, the ethos of community radio remains independent and responsible to serve the community needs. Bannari Amman Community Radio is currently going ON AIR @ 90.4 MHz for 9.00 hours from 6.00 am to 10.00 am in the morning and 5.00 pm to 10.00 pm in the evening.<\/p>\n<\/aside><\/div>\n<\/section>\n<section class=\"Community-radio-sec2\">\n<div class=\"row Community-radio-inner\">\n<aside class=\"col-lg-12\">\n<h3>Objectives<\/h3>\n<p>The Bannari Amman Community Radio focuses on issues concerning environment, Agriculture, social relevance, health care, personal hygiene, self-motivation, personality development, science awareness, education, career guidance and folk music. It broadcasts various programmes on these capacities at the vicinity of locations such as Sathyamangalam, Puliampatti, Bannari and Gobichettipalayam with the participation of community members, students and experts.<\/p>\n<h3>BACR strives to:<\/h3>\n<p>Work towards the holistic development of people of all walks of life by providing a guiding direction to inspire them, maintain positive attitude in life and encourage observing cleanliness in their area of living.<br \/>\n                                Empower all sections of people including women, children, tribal people and rural
