The Coimbatore District Basketball Association proudly presents the prestigious 59th Nachimuthu Gounder Cup for Men and 23rd CRI Pumps Trophy for Women, one of the oldest and most celebrated basketball tournaments in Tamil Nadu.

This iconic summer tournament has a rich legacy, attracting top institutional and departmental teams from across India. Renowned teams such as Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Indian Navy, Indian Air Force, Railways, and Customs & Central Excise have consistently participated, making it a high-level national competition.

Legacy & Roll of Honour

The tournament’s Roll of Honour reflects decades of excellence, featuring champions and runners-up from India’s leading teams.

Indian Bank and IOB (Indian Overseas Bank) have been among the most successful teams in the men’s category.

In the women’s category, KSEB, Southern Railway, and other Railway teams have dominated over the years.

This legacy highlights the tournament’s importance in Indian basketball.
