Centrifugal Monoblock Pumpsets
What is a Centrifugal Monoblock Pumpset & How does it work?
As the name suggests, a Centrifugal Monoblock Pump is water Pump which converts Mechanical Centrifugal force or rotational force in a spinning impeller to Hydraulic force or Pressure force of the water, in order to lift water to a greater height. The Pumpset creates a vacuum which can suck water from a maximum suction limit of 20 ft and depending on water level at which the pumpset is installed accordingly. It consists of a Pump part and Electric Motor part. Electric Motor is the driver part while the Pump is the driven part. The Electric Motor and the Pump is connected together via a common shaft which transfers the power from the Electric motor to the Pump respectively. Since the set of Motor and Pump coupled together resemble as if they are single part or block, it is called a Monoblock Pumpset. Centrifugal Monoblock Pumpsets are available in both single phase and three phase power supply.
